松陰芸術賞 | 受賞のお知らせ

  • 大変光栄な事に京都芸術大学より松蔭芸術賞を頂きました。
  • 松陰芸術賞とは、社会活動を活発に行い、優れた成果が期待できる卒業生・修了生に授与されます。第四代学長 千住博教授を中心に毎年一名が選出され、今後の活動にエールを送るという賞です。
  • 学生時代、優秀とはとても言えない生徒でしたので、母校より受賞のご連絡を頂きました際は大変驚きました。大学を卒業してから芸術家として歩む道のりの難しさ、厳しさを身をもって知り、先生方の厳しいご指導が愛情の形であった事を知りました。
  • 今日までこうして制作活動に取り組んで来られたのは、本当に多くの皆さまに支えて頂けたからこそだと感じます。
  • お世話になっている方々を想い始めると際限がありません。いつも応援してくださる皆さま、制作を支えてくれるスタッフ、ギャラリー、業者のみなさま。アドバイスをくださる先輩方、日々熱心に制作に取り組んでいる同期のみんな、後輩たち。そして家族、友達、、、多くの人と関わりながら制作活動に取り組めている状況が、本当にありがたく、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
  • この気持ちは、作品でお返し出来ますように精進致します。まだまだ未熟で至らぬ自分ですが、今後とも何卒よろしくお願い申し上げます。

  • 【松陰芸術賞選考理由】
    大和美緒は、昨年メキシコシティにて開催されたアートフェアZONA MACOで、Foundation Casa Wabiより最優秀女性作家賞WOMAN ARTIST RESIDENCY AWARDを授与されるなど、海外でも作品が取り扱われ注目を集めています。また株式会社島津製作所やコスメブランド「THREE」とのコラボレーションなどにより、自らの表現の幅を広げており、今後の活動がますます期待される作家として、松陰芸術賞を授与します。

  • It is a great honour for us to receive the Shoin Art Award from Kyoto University of Arts.
  • It is awarded to graduates of Kyoto University of Arts who are actively engaged in social activities and who are expected to achieve outstanding results. One person is selected each year by the fourth President of the University, Professor Hiroshi Senju, to receive the award and to be encouraged in their future activities.
  • When I was a student, I could not say that I was an excellent student, so I was very surprised when I received the award from my alma mater. Since graduating from university, I have learned first-hand how difficult and demanding it is to become an artist, and I have learned that the strict guidance of my teachers was a form of love.
  • I feel that it is thanks to the support of so many people that I have been able to do what I do today.
  • I am very grateful to be able to work with so many people, and I am filled with gratitude.
  • I will do my best to return this feeling with my work. I am still inexperienced and inadequate, but I would like to ask for your continued support.

  • The awards ceremony will take place on Homecoming Day, Saturday 30 October 2021, and will be broadcast live on YouTube LIVE.

  • Reason for selection for the Shoin Art Award
    Mio Yamato was awarded the WOMAN ARTIST RESIDENCY AWARD by the Foundation Casa Wabi at the ZONA MACO art fair held in Mexico City last year. In addition, she has collaborated with Shimadzu Corporation and the cosmetic brand “THREE” to expand the range of her own expression.
